In Friday's league outing, the Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) basketball squad edged the host Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR), by a count of 78-75.
The Yellowjackets (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, Marmaduke held off Jasper (Jasper, AR), 58-52, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greene County Tech for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Earle will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 66-63 non-league win over Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
