Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY), 65-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bethlehem Central upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Colonie Central (Albany, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Colonie Central won 60-58 in their recent league bout against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY)

Next up, the Brothers play the Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Christian Brothers Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Flying Dutchmen come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY).
