With the victory, Chisholm improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Newkirk (Newkirk, OK) to confront the Tigers in a 89er - West challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Newkirk lost 66-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Pawnee (Pawnee, OK)

Next up, the Maroons confront the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) in a 89er - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Blackwell will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Goldbugs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 71-45 non-league win over Perry (Perry, OK).
