In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Celeste Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 74-70 triumph over the Boles Hornets.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 match, on Tuesday, December 19. Celeste will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 75-37 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX).
