Boscobel Bulldogs (Boscobel, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI), 61-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Boscobel upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, WI) to play the Flying Arrows in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Flying Arrows come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Lancaster lost 61-49 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Spring Green, WI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Thursday, December 21. Iowa-Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Redbirds come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 75-58 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI).
