Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), 44-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brawley upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Central (El Centro, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a Imperial Valley bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Central lost 73-51 in their recent non-league bout against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
