The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) basketball nipped the host Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA), 55-54 in Friday's league test.

The Chargers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record.

The Spartans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sto-Rox for a WPIAL 3A 2 test on Wednesday, December 20. Brentwood will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 62-55 league loss to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-4.
