Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), 49-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Brooks upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Lions host Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Lauderdale County won 62-44 in their recent league bout against Clements (Athens, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
