Teague Lions (Teague, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX), 54-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Teague upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Rice (Rice, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Bison play the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs (Corrigan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
