Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Madison upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bloodhounds travel to Notre Dame (Burlington, IA) to clash with the Nikes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Nikes go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Notre Dame won 68-40 in their recent non-league bout against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA)

Next up, the Grayhounds clash with the Fairfield Trojans (Fairfield, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 50-39 league loss to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA).
