Oklahoma High School Basketball - Butner holds off Midway

December 15, 2023: Council Hill, OK 74428

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Butner Eagles (Cromwell, OK) and the host Midway Chargers (Council Hill, OK), saw Butner's basketball squad hold off Midway by a tally of 54-52.

With the victory, Butner improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Calvin (Calvin, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Calvin lost 64-36 in their recent league challenge against Tupelo (Tupelo, OK)

Next up, the Chargers confront the Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Midway will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
