Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Carlisle topped by Cumberland Valley

The Cumberland Valley Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Carlisle Thundering Herd to 51 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chambersburg for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Tuesday, December 19. Cumberland Valley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 60-56 league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.

The Thundering Herd (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA). The Panthers come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 1-2 record.
