In Friday's league outing, the Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers (Houston, TX), by a margin of 54-36.

The Lobos (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Ridge Point thwarted Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 75-56, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6.
