The Prentice Buccaneers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles to 56 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rib Lake for a Marawood - North contest on Tuesday, December 19. Prentice will battle a Redmen team coming off a 66-40 league win over Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI). The Redmen record now stands at 5-2.

The Screaming Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Athens (Athens, WI). The Bluejays enter the Marawood - North contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Athens was defeated by Phillips (Phillips, WI), 68-58, in a league contest.
