Louisiana High School Basketball - West Side Christian can't hold off Claiborne Academy

The Claiborne Academy Rebels basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting West Side Christian Warriors to 42 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Baptist for a MAIS 2A District 4 contest on Friday, January 5.
The Warriors (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Baptist (West Monroe, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Northeast Baptist was nudged by Briarfield Academy (Lake Providence, LA), 61-12, in a league contest.
