Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), 61-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarksville upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR) to clash with the Sand Lizards in a 4A Region 4 bout on Monday, December 18. The Sand Lizards go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Dardanelle lost 57-48 in their recent league bout against Ozark (Ozark, AR)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Horatio Lions (Horatio, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Mena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 73-46 league loss to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR).
