The Columbus Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Huntley Project Red Devils to 43 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sweet Grass County for a B District 4 contest on Saturday, December 16. Columbus will meet a Sheepherders team coming off a 57-23 league loss to Joliet (Joliet, MT). The Sheepherders record now stands at 0-4.

The Red Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Red Lodge (Red Lodge, MT). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Red Lodge triumphed over Colstrip (Colstrip, MT), 86-44, in a non-league contest.
