Alabama High School Basketball - Comer can't hold off Talladega County Central

The Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Comer Tigers to 63 in the Fighting Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appalachian for a 1A Area 10 contest on Monday, December 18. Talladega County Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 81-36 league win over Ragland (Ragland, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Bessemer City was nudged by Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL), 64-32, in a non-league contest.
