Texas High School Basketball - Copperas Cove knocked off by Weiss

The Weiss Wolves basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs to 50 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Weiss will meet a Vikings team coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
The Bulldawgs (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Waco, TX). The Panthers enter the 6A Region II District 12 contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Midway ran past Temple (Temple, TX), 60-50, in a league contest.
