Texas High School Basketball - Langham Creek tops Cypress Woods

Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the host Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX), 61-47 in a league battle.

The Lobos now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Springs for a 6A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, December 19. Langham Creek will confront a Panthers team coming off a 66-47 league win over Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.

The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region II District 16 battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Cypress Falls beat Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 58-48, in a league battle.
