The Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros basketball team (Buxton, ND), was overwhelmed 83-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND)
The Firebirds now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turtle Mountain for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Devils Lake will confront a Braves team coming off a 89-49 non-league win over Watford City (Watford City, ND). The Braves record now stands at 1-2.
The H-CV Burros (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Carrington (Carrington, ND). The Cardinals come into the A Region 2 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Carrington was overwhelmed by Thompson (Thompson, ND), 64-35, in a league battle.
