The Stratford Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Edgar Wildcats to 54 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman for a Marawood - South contest on Tuesday, December 19. Stratford will battle a Fighting Cardinals team coming off a 78-34 league loss to Marathon (Marathon, WI). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 1-6.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Auburndale (Auburndale, WI). The Apaches come into the Marawood - South contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Auburndale edged Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), 61-38, in a league contest.
