Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eureka Springs Highlanders (Eureka Springs, AR), 60-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Yellville-Summit upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Salem (Salem, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Salem won 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Maynard (Maynard, AR)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) in a 2A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Eureka Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
