Utah High School Basketball - Maeser Prep Academy overwhelms Freedom Prep Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) and the host Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT), saw Maeser Prep Academy's basketball squad wallop Freedom Prep Academy by a count of 59-29.

With the victory, Maeser Prep Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Milford (Milford, UT) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders (Lehi, UT) in a 2A Region 16 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Freedom Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 72-26 non-league win over Dugway (Dugway, UT).
