The Fridley Tigers basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Richfield Spartans to 74 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harding for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Fridley will battle a Knights team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Orono prevailed over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN), 92-72, in a non-league contest.
