Gettysburg Warriors (Gettysburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), 86-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gettysburg upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warriors host West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-5. West Perry lost 70-45 in their recent league bout against Big Spring (Newville, PA)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Shippensburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 68-35 league loss to Hershey (Hershey, PA).
