West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 66-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Marshall upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to play the Bluejays in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Perry lost 81-37 in their recent non-league bout against A-D-M (Adel, IA)

Next up, the Rams play the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 72-54 league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
