Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL), 72-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Guntersville upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Westminster Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Westminster Christian Academy lost 42-37 in their recent league bout against West Limestone (Lester, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Enterprise Wildcats (Enterprise, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Scottsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 65-61 non-league win over Andalusia (Andalusia, AL).
