With the win, Hastings upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Saxons travel to Ionia (Ionia, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Ionia lost 53-26 in their recent league bout against Portland (Portland, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Hopkins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 54-50 league win over Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI).
