Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM), 57-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Hawks play the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Thoreau will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
