Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX), 58-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Pollok Central upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a 3A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Diboll lost 52-37 in their recent league bout against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Huntington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
