The Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) basketball felled the visiting Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), 58-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Cougars go into the 5A Region III District 17 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Crosby thwarted Randle (Richmond, TX), 50-37, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Lumberton for a 4A Region III District 19 test on Friday, December 15. Jasper will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.
