New York High School Basketball - Johnstown winner over Scotia-Glenville

The Johnstown Sir Bills (Johnstown, NY) basketball felled the visiting Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY), 48-39 in Friday's league test.

The Sir Bills (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Huskies/Dragons go into the Section 2 Foothills test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Gloversville was beaten by Schenectady (Schenectady, NY), 77-54, in a non-league test.

The Tartans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Broadalbin-Perth for a Section 2 Foothills test on Tuesday, December 19. Scotia-Glenville will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 70-51 league loss to Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
