Kennedy Cougars (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA), 98-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA) to clash with the Little Hawks in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Little Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Iowa City lost 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (North Liberty, IA)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, December 22. Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
