Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) and the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), saw South County's basketball squad knock off Lake Braddock by a count of 65-55.

With the victory, South County upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Stallions host Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to play the Lions in a District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Bruins play the Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Lake Braddock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
