Ohio High School Basketball - Lakota West knocked off by Middletown

The Middletown Middies basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Lakota West Firebirds to 59 in the Middies league triumph on Friday.
The Middies now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Miami for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Middletown will battle a Panthers team coming off a 52-39 league loss to Turpin (Cincinnati, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
The Firebirds (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Highlanders enter the Greater Miami contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Oak Hills ran past Fairfield (Fairfield, OH), 66-53, in a league contest.
