St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lancaster Baptist Eagles (Lancaster, CA), 58-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Monica Academy upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Gardena (Gardena, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Gardena won 60-41 in their recent league bout against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA) in a Heritage bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Lancaster Baptist will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
