With the victory, Laurel Christian improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Enterprise lost 44-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Puckett (Puckett, MS)

Next up, the Generals confront the Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS) in a MAIS 3A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Newton County Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
