Washington High School Basketball - Mercer Island can't hold off Liberty

The Liberty Patriots basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Mercer Island Islanders to 67 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foster for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20.

The Islanders (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA). The T-Birds come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Tahoma edged Shelton (Shelton, WA), 74-47, in a non-league contest.
