The Southwestern Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting McCreary Central Raiders to 54 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Jessamine for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Southwestern will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 63-52 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-3.
The Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Casey County was nudged by Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY), 88-66, in a non-league contest.
