T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, T.W. Andrews upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Southwest Guilford won 81-62 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Phoenix play the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. McMichael will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 79-68 non-league win over Central Carolina Prep (Burlington, NC).
