Ohio High School Basketball - Mentor fells Medina

December 15, 2023: Mentor, OH 44060

Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH), 91-79 in a league bout.

With the win, Mentor upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to GlenOak (Canton, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. GlenOak lost 64-61 in their recent league bout against McKinley (Canton, OH)

Next up, the Battling Bees play the Emmanuel Christian Warriors (Toledo, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Medina will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
