The Menahga Braves basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host New York Mills Eagles to 34 in the Braves non-league victory on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnesville for a AA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Menahga will battle a Trojans team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Park Christian (Moorhead, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
The Eagles (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Panthers come into the A Section 6 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Parkers Prairie triumphed over Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN), 52-41, in a league contest.
