The Mifflin Punchers basketball team (Columbus, OH), was overwhelmed 87-55 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH)

The Vikings now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. Northland will confront a Senators team coming off a 72-52 non-league loss to Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH). The Senators record now stands at 1-4.

The Punchers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, OH). The Golden Gales come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Lancaster was overwhelmed by New Albany (New Albany, OH), 45-34, in a non-league battle.
