With the victory, Watauga improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. T.C. Roberson won 69-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) in a 1A/2A Western Highlands challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Mountain Heritage will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 79-47 league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC).
