In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Navajo Pine Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-40 triumph over the Zuni Thunderbirds.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Navajo Pine will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
With the defeat, Zuni moves to 3-4 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, December 16. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-4. Crownpoint lost 66-30 in their recent non-league match against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM)
