Indiana High School Basketball - New Palestine nips New Castle

December 15, 2023: New Castle, IN 47362

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) and the host New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), saw New Palestine's basketball squad hold off New Castle by a count of 61-60.

With the victory, New Palestine upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Flashes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Flashes come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Franklin Central lost 62-51 in their recent league challenge against Zionsville (Zionsville, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 72-35 league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN).
