North Carolina High School Basketball - Palisades succumbs to South Mecklenburg

December 15, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres topped the visiting Palisades Pumas basketball team by a final score of 75-56 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Sabres face the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 19. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 58-46 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC).

With the defeat, Palisades moves to 5-4 on the year. The Pumas travel to Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC) to face the Mariners in a non-league game on Thursday, December 21. The Mariners enter the game with a record of 6-7.
