Mississippi High School Basketball - Warren Central nudges Port Gibson

In Friday's non-league outing, the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) basketball squad edged the host Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), by a count of 51-45.

The Vikings (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson County (Fayette, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Jefferson County held off Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS), 46-29, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Waves now hold a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Raymond for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 16. Port Gibson will clash with a Rangers squad coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN). The Rangers record now stands at 10-3.
