Illinois High School Basketball - Wheeling ripped by Prospect

The Prospect Knights basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Wheeling Wildcats to 36 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jacobs for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Prospect will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-43 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-6.

The Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the Mid-Suburban - East contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Hersey was routed by Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
